About

Salus University’s Occupational Therapy Institute (OTI) is a nonprofit free clinic that provides high-quality, evidence-based occupation-related activities for individuals who have or are at risk of developing an illness, impairment, disability, or participation restriction and reside within the Greater Philadelphia region. OTI is a new addition to Salus University’s robust slate of community-based clinics, including The Eye Institute, which provides comprehensive adult and pediatric vision care; the Pennsylvania Ear Institute, which provides evaluative, rehabilitative, and preventative hearing impairment services; and the Speech-Language Institute, which provides evaluations, treatment, and support groups for individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

OTI delivers occupational therapy services while providing valuable clinical experience to graduate students in the Department of Occupational Therapy. The clinical facility offers full pediatric and adult assessments and screenings with individual and group intervention sessions to promote increased independence in activities associated with daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, household management, education, play, and social participation, and supports for families and caregivers/care partners. There is no charge for services

Since there is no charge for services, it is essential that we raise funds to cover the costs of OTI, especially since this is a nonprofit free clinic serving underrepresented patients in the Greater Philadelphia community.

In order for Brianna and the entire OTI team to serve patients, the clinic will be dependent on the generosity and support of alumni, friends, and the community.
